Domain Expert (Mainframe Modernization)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic running on mainframe systems.
• Monitor architecture, identify inefficiencies, and optimize code to maintain mainframe performance.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions in mission-critical applications.
• Refactor legacy code and extract business logic for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
• Develop scalable and robust software using modern development methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience as a software engineer on complex software projects.
• Strong coding and development experience with Java, Python, .NET, or similar technologies.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
