Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (SaaS)

Location: New York City, New York, United States

Salary: $164,200–$225,700 USD per year, with potential annual performance bonus, equity, and regional benefits.

What you will do

• Build enterprise capabilities that help organizations securely adopt, administer, and scale CustomerLake products.
• Design permissions, roles, authorization, and access-control systems for complex enterprise environments.
• Develop audit logs and governance features that provide visibility into user activity, configuration changes, and sensitive operations.
• Build pricing, entitlement, usage, and product controls for teams and users.
• Design scalable backend services, APIs, data models, and administrative experiences.
• Own projects end to end and collaborate with product management, design, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
• Deep backend engineering experience with the ability to work across the full stack and own features end to end.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS products and with permissions, authorization, audit logs, entitlements, pricing or usage controls, governance, security, or administrative tooling.
• Experience designing scalable backend services, APIs, data models, and distributed systems.
• Strong experience with server-side technologies such as Java, Python, Scala, Go, Node, or C++.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks, plus strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating company-wide permissions, audit logging frameworks, and entitlement systems used by enterprise IT and Security administrators.
• Experience working in 0-to-1 environments and navigating ambiguity while making technical trade-offs.
