What you will do

• Manage an independent clinical caseload on a flexible contractual basis.
• Provide short-term, goal-oriented counseling, typically across 1–8 sessions per case.
• Support employees and dependents experiencing stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, anxiety, or depression.
• Use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, SFBT, and ACT in an EAP context.
• Manage scheduling and case notes through Lyra’s secure digital platform while meeting global data privacy requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Clinical Social Work.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Registration with the relevant local governing body as a psychologist, counsellor, or clinical social worker.
• Experience with short-term therapy or employee assistance programs, with the ability to deliver brief, structured interventions.
• Secure, confidential space and high-speed internet for telehealth video sessions.
• Own office space for in-person client sessions in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Nice to have

• Psychoanalytic background combined with the ability to practice brief, structured therapy.
