Chief Financial Officer (Digital Assets)

Location: United States — New York or Florida; fully onsite Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Salary: $185,000–$230,000 base in New York or $165,000–$210,000 base in Florida, plus a discretionary annual bonus typically equal to 2–4 months of salary.

Digital assets and payments operations within an established US brokerage and investing platform.

What you will do

• Own accounting, financial reporting, regulatory filings, treasury, and financial controls end to end.
• Prepare and file call reports and multi-state regulatory reports across the money transmitter license footprint.
• Handle invoices, bank accounts, and month-end close directly.
• Partner with the group CFO and finance organization, as well as the entity CEO and Director of Operations.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of finance or accounting experience in regulated financial services, payments, or crypto.
• Hands-on money transmitter license experience is required, including ownership, participation in an MTL team, or work on an application in progress.
• Experience with multi-state, ideally all 50-state, regulatory reporting.
• Oracle experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills and comfort executing detailed work directly rather than only overseeing others.
• Enough crypto exposure to understand the business model and its accounting implications.

Nice to have

• CPA qualification.
• Experience as the sole finance owner at a smaller crypto or payments firm with multi-state reporting.
• Broker-dealer finance experience with MTL exposure.
• Stablecoin or crypto payments accounting experience.
