Senior Process Engineer (Consumer Electronics)

Location: On-site in Oulu, North Ostrobothnia, Finland

What you will do

• Contribute to product design through design for manufacturing, assembly process, and tooling development.
• Develop and deploy assembly and material handling processes from early design through factory implementation.
• Develop gluing processes for improved quality and throughput.
• Coordinate manufacturing readiness, prototype builds, and factory ramp-ups across R&D programs, factories, suppliers, and other partners.
• Assess manufacturing and assembly methods, support contract manufacturers, and resolve production bottlenecks.
• Create process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions for manufacturing.

Requirements

• Experience in or with consumer electronics manufacturing, electronics assembly, automation, and factory collaboration.
• Experience with miniaturized product design, manufacturing tooling, and manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process parameters, statistical process control, process control methods, and yield improvement.
• Experience with molding, gluing, and automated machine processes.
• Systematic, organized, and collaborative working style with cross-functional teams, external partners, and factories.
• Comfortable working with written and spoken English.
