What you will do

• Lead technical initiatives across engineering development, manufacturing operations, and high-volume production.
• Architect and build complex physical systems from first principles through final integration.
• Scale research and development operations into full production.
• Establish factories, test facilities, and production systems from the ground up.
• Develop industrial automation and robotics capabilities for high-mix manufacturing.
• Help define how manufacturing systems and physical goods scale from concept to production.

Requirements

• Strong technical foundation in engineering or manufacturing with deep expertise in at least one domain.
• Fluency across multiple technical disciplines and experience building complex physical systems.
• Proven leadership in fast-paced, technically ambitious environments.
• Comfort with ambiguity, zero-to-one builds, and hands-on technical problem-solving.
• Ability to set a vision while contributing to detailed implementation work.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling R&D operations into full production.
• Experience establishing a factory or test facility from scratch.
• Industrial automation, robotics, or high-mix manufacturing experience.
• MRP/ERP design and implementation experience.
• Metal additive manufacturing experience.
