DevOps Developer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Oakville, Ontario office

Salary: CAD 94,200–117,700 per year

What you will do

• Evolve Azure infrastructure across App Service, SQL, Storage, Virtual Networks, and Monitor for a reliable and secure multi-tenant SaaS application.
• Build, maintain, and improve auditable CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Author and manage Infrastructure as Code using ARM Templates or comparable tooling.
• Administer Azure SQL database backup and restore operations and manage secure FTP/SFTP data exchange workflows.
• Partner with development teams to troubleshoot operational issues and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Evaluate AI-generated infrastructure changes and develop LLM-assisted runbooks, pipelines, and observability tooling.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations, or infrastructure engineering with ownership of production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and secure, cost-effective cloud configuration.
• Experience managing GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience authoring and maintaining Infrastructure as Code and validating AI-generated code before production deployment.
• Clear communication, self-directed work habits, and a strong focus on correctness and reliability.
• Ability to work from the Oakville office 3 days per week in a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-400, or equivalent expertise.
• PowerShell or Python scripting and experience with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of NSGs, firewall rules, private endpoints, and Wiz cloud security posture management.
• Experience with Claude-powered agents or similar LLM systems, including MCP servers connected to monitoring and alerting systems.
