Senior Infrastructure / DX Engineer – Platform (all genders) (AWS/TypeScript/Node): Building and operating an internal developer platform and modernizing cloud services with an accent on AWS infrastructure, Terraform, security, and cloud-native TypeScript and Node.js systems. Focus on designing scalable platform architecture, driving cloud migration, unblocking product engineers, and improving developer workflows with coding agents.
Location: Remote and Berlin-friendly; Berlin, Germany

What you will do
- Build and operate the internal developer platform and its tooling and infrastructure.
- Drive the migration and consolidation of services into a modern cloud-native environment.
- Design system and infrastructure architecture and communicate it through clear technical diagrams.
- Work directly with product engineers to solve infrastructure problems and remove delivery blockers.
- Use coding agents in daily development and help improve agent-assisted engineering practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience at organisational scale, including multi-account environments, identity and access management, networking, and account-level guardrails.
- Security-first experience with least privilege, secrets management, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Production experience with Terraform or a comparable infrastructure-as-code solution, including ownership of AWS delivery pipelines.
- TypeScript with Node.js as a primary application stack, or a deliberate and recent transition to it; Python is useful as a secondary language.
- Experience building or selecting internal developer tooling and delivering projects end to end in both lean startup and larger-organisation settings.
- Daily experience with coding agents, including reviewing and validating their output.
Nice to have
- Experience with monorepo build systems and shared tooling.
- Previous cloud-migration experience.
- Experience building internal command-line tools or code generators.
- Public technical work, including open-source contributions or technical writing.
