What you will do
- Build scalable cloud data platforms and production-grade data engineering workloads.
- Design data models using dimensional, normalized, and lakehouse patterns.
- Develop distributed data processing solutions with Spark and Flink.
- Implement streaming and event-driven architectures with Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, or Pub/Sub.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong SQL skills and applied data modeling expertise.
- Production-grade Python and working knowledge of Scala, Java, or Go.
- Advanced AWS experience with Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, S3, Lambda, and Kinesis.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and CDK or CloudFormation.
- Fluent English at B2 level and availability for remote work from Portugal.
