IT Systems Engineer (Cloud and Security)

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle, inventory, documentation, tagging, and compliance of IT hardware and office devices.
• Maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, and connectivity, coordinating with vendors and ISPs when needed.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, onboarding, offboarding, endpoint patching, protection, MFA, encryption, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Administer Google Workspace, MS 365, VPNs, password managers, productivity tools, and other business-critical applications.
• Support cloud-based services in GCP, AWS, and Azure and collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams on integrations and access.
• Maintain procedures and user guides, support audits and compliance reviews, and contribute to IT projects, automation, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technology discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator, IT Specialist, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware lifecycle management, asset inventory, network infrastructure, identity and access management, and user provisioning.
• Practical experience with endpoint management, patching, antivirus or EDR, MFA, device encryption, incident response, and user support.
• Experience with Google Workspace or MS 365, familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, TISAX or similar security standards, IT audits, compliance, cost optimization, and distributed-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Security or cloud certifications.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and leading process improvement or automation initiatives.
• Experience contributing to IT security and compliance projects, audits, and vendor management.
