Sr. Manager, Technology Risk Management (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site in Westlake, TX; Austin, TX; Southlake, TX; Omaha, NE; or Orlando, FL

Salary: USD $120,000–$170,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Oversee technology risk and cyber resilience across the technology asset lifecycle.
• Assess risks related to endpoint security, enterprise mobility management, technology configuration, critical applications, and operational resilience.
• Partner with Technology Operations, Data, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering, Compliance, and Corporate Risk Management.
• Identify emerging risks, evaluate controls, challenge risk decisions, and advise stakeholders on resilient solutions.
• Develop risk metrics, monitor program maturity, and identify continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Translate complex risk information into reporting and recommendations for senior leaders and management committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technology or cybersecurity risk management, third-party risk, audit, oversight, SOX testing, operational risk, or a similar risk and control function.
• Experience identifying, assessing, monitoring, and communicating technology or cybersecurity risks.
• Experience negotiating information security terms and conditions and providing effective challenge on technology and cyber resilience risks.
• Strong independent judgment, analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and ability to communicate with senior leaders and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating across functions.

Nice to have

• CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or PMP certification.
• Experience with technology asset lifecycle practices, endpoint security, endpoint resilience, enterprise mobility management, and configuration management.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks and assurance standards.
• Experience developing risk metrics, management reporting, cyber recovery strategies, or program maturity insights.
• Experience in a large financial services organization and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
