What you will do
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities across global entities, including accounts payable, expenses, payroll, banking, and journal entries.
- Process payroll, superannuation, and related reconciliations while coordinating with Rippling and third-party processors.
- Support month-end close through journal entries and reconciliations for cash, prepaids, accruals, intercompany accounts, and fixed assets.
- Coordinate with departments to obtain transaction information, investigate reconciling items, and resolve financial queries.
- Assist with tax and statutory filings, financial statement notes, audit information, equity transactions, and capital projects.
- Help implement procedures that improve the finance department’s workflow and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a general ledger accountant, bookkeeper, or in a role with greater responsibilities.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; working toward or holding a CA or CPA qualification.
- Good knowledge of IFRS; knowledge of GAAP is helpful.
- Experience with payroll processes in Australia, the UK, and/or the USA.
- Experience with Campfire, Ramp, Stripe, or similar accounting ERP systems, plus Google Workspace and strong Google Sheets or Excel proficiency.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and adaptability skills.
