Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $141,000 – $162,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop services and features in Java and Python, following peer review and production quality standards.
• Work with Kubernetes orchestration and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) at the API/programming level.
• Own critical features and subsystems through the entire software development lifecycle, including deployment and customer usage.
• Implement telemetry and metrics for operational monitoring and quick issue identification.
• Ensure code quality through early developer testing and functional/integration testing.
• Collaborate with Product Management for requirements clarification, scoping, and locking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years experience building distributed and scalable software systems.
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
• Experience with REST API clients.
• Working knowledge or willingness to learn Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) at the API/programming level.

Nice to have

• Experience with networking and security controls.
• Knowledge of CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Spring or similar ecosystems.
• Knowledge of Docker containers.
• Understanding of Gang of Four design patterns.
