Nextjs Developer (React)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office

What you will do

• Design and develop modern user interfaces and reusable components with React.js and Next.js.
• Implement state management using Redux, MobX, or Context API, and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, backend engineers, and agile teams to deliver accessible and responsive interfaces.
• Implement secure authentication and session management, and write unit and integration tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Optimize Next.js applications using server-side rendering, static site generation, incremental static regeneration, Lighthouse, and Core Web Vitals.
• Manage builds and deployments through CI/CD pipelines, resolve production issues, and contribute to frontend coding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including 2–3 years with React.js and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, and modern frontend workflows.
• Experience with state management and CSS-in-JS or utility styling libraries such as Styled Components, Emotion, or TailwindCSS.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, debugging, and performance optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience with progressive web apps, offline-first design, frontend security, Node.js, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• React or JavaScript/TypeScript professional certification.
• Cloud Developer certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
