Senior Frontend Product Software Engineer (React)

Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid

What you will do

• Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend architecture and features for the Kyte SaaS invoicing product.
• Collaborate with product managers, product owners, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver functionality.
• Identify technical debt and perform incremental refactoring during feature implementation.
• Establish frontend best practices for component architecture, state management, and testing.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Senior software engineering experience in a full-stack team.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript ES6+.
• Experience with Redux, TanStack Query, reusable UI architecture, and component design systems.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, including RTL and Cypress.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Vite, CI/CD pipelines, and REST or GraphQL API integration.
• Experience with Agile development, cross-functional collaboration, code review, and mentoring.

• Experience building invoicing products.
