SFDC QA Automation Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of two days per week working from an HPE office

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce environments.
• Translate business requirements into test strategies, test cases, and quality validation plans.
• Validate Salesforce applications, integrations, workflows, APIs, performance, and security requirements.
• Participate in test planning, design reviews, debugging, Agile ceremonies, and deployment processes.
• Identify, document, and support the resolution of defects across manual and automated testing phases.
• Collaborate with developers, business users, product managers, and cross-functional teams to improve product quality and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience; 7+ years of QA experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 5 years of QA experience, including 3+ years in test automation.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Provar, or similar.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, including Lightning Experience, workflows, triggers, APIs, Service Cloud, and external integrations using SOAP, REST, or middleware.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, enterprise-level testing, version control, and release management.
• Strong analytical, debugging, documentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Administrator or QA Automation certification.
• Experience with Git, Gearset, and GitHub Copilot.
