Global Construction EHS Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Set the strategic direction for construction EHS across fab construction activities.
• Ensure EHS services support the safe planning, start-up, construction, commissioning, and handover of buildings and facilities.
• Coach construction management on alignment with corporate EHS policies.
• Implement audits, self-assessments, benchmarks, metrics, and KPIs to meet legal and corporate requirements.
• Drive construction safety culture initiatives and coordinate EHS training.
• Plan resources, direct activities, and manage an EHS team while meeting schedules, standards, and cost objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, civil engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction EHS or environmental compliance programs.
• 3+ years of proficiency conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Strong analytical, communication, decision-making, and influencing skills.
• Ability to lead and engage internal and external partners.
• Must be able to work on-site in the United States; this position is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in EHS, engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or advanced manufacturing construction.
• Experience with air compliance programs, permits, and relevant regulations.
