Location: Maxwell AFB, Alabama, USA; remote work is available, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.

Salary: $69,400–$158,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Design, develop, modify, and implement applications using the Appian low-code and no-code platform.
• Support low-code development platforms from initial vision through production-ready delivery.
• Translate client IT needs and future goals into architectural patterns, design standards, and implementation practices.
• Develop workflow automation and creative solutions that accelerate cloud modernization.
• Collaborate with teams and clients to solve complex technical and workflow challenges.
• Help reduce system maintenance and development costs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, modifying, writing, and implementing software applications.
• 3+ years of experience with Appian low-code and no-code platforms.
• Experience creating applications with little to no code and familiarity with programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
• Experience solving complex challenges in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; selected applicants will undergo a security investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, or software products.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Experience acquiring client requirements and optimizing workflow automation.
• Experience with automated testing tools for testing and maintenance.
• Existing Secret clearance.
