Regional SOC Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Bucharest, Romania. Applicants must have a valid visa and work permit to work in Romania. A work-from-home policy and flexible working hours are available.

What you will do

• Lead regional SOC operations covering threat detection, monitoring, and incident response across IT, OT, and R&D environments.
• Provide Tier 3 incident response and coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
• Improve SOC processes, playbooks, alert triage, and security automation.
• Oversee regional vulnerability assessments, risk management, patching, hardening, segmentation, and access controls.
• Collaborate with security architects, red teams, engineering, product, and R&D teams to strengthen security throughout product development lifecycles.

Requirements

• 4+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on blue teaming, security operations, and cyber defense.
• At least 2 years of experience with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
• At least two certifications from the specified certification list, including options such as GSEC, CISSP, Security+, CySA+, AWS Certified Security, and Microsoft SC-200.
• Foundational IT and OT security knowledge, including ICS, SCADA, industrial cyber threats, and R&D or embedded-system security.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, threat intelligence platforms, and security automation.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK Enterprise and ICS, NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, Zero Trust, and cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
