Staff Engineer, Field Application Engineering (PAM4)

What you will do

• Provide pre- and post-sales support for customer design-in, bring-up, validation, and debug across PAM4 DSP, TIA/Driver, and AEC/ACC solutions.
• Align customer design requirements with hirify.global technology and support proposal development and design-win opportunities.
• Guide customers through design processes, conversions, system bring-up, and production readiness.
• Review signal and power integrity topics including topology, vias, return paths, decoupling strategy, and S-parameters.
• Coordinate simulations, correlate models with laboratory results, and recommend design fixes.
• Provide hands-on onsite support, resolve hardware and software issues, and train customers and distributor FAEs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with typically 3–10 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with typically 1–8 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed PAM4 SerDes, optical modules, TIA/Driver front-ends, or AEC/ACC hardware through design, bring-up, and testing.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled technology and software may be required; an export license review may apply before employment.
