Senior C# .NET Developer – Equity Regulatory Systems (Fintech)

Location: Porto, Portugal, with a hybrid work model allowing up to 3 remote days per week. Candidates must have the legal right to work within the European Union.

What you will do

• Enhance regulatory processes and monitoring tools for equity derivatives and related data flows.
• Develop and refine solutions aligned with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Integrate and support Sophis Front to Back and TRR business units.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across regulatory systems.
• Coordinate with business analysts, regulatory specialists, and IT colleagues to support compliance.
• Support major releases and high-impact events, including occasional night or weekend interventions.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of software development experience, preferably in financial or regulatory systems.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET, with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CLR, XLD, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• Experience customizing, integrating, and troubleshooting Sophis.
• Ability to work independently with rigor, attention to detail, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher and legal right to work in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, Java, or Python.
• Power BI dashboarding experience.
• PowerShell or CMD scripting skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations affecting trading systems.
