Fullstack JavaScript Lead (Node.js & React)

hirify.global provides engineering services and develops software solutions for business operations, including a project for a US-based client in the building and construction services industry.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of modular full-stack web applications using Node.js and React.
• Design scalable backend services and REST APIs with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build responsive, maintainable React interfaces and define internal application contracts.
• Own technical decisions, architecture, engineering standards, and technology evaluation.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and promote testing, documentation, and clean-code practices.
• Identify technical risks, optimize performance and scalability, and troubleshoot production issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including significant full-stack web development.
• Previous experience as a Lead Developer, Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, or in a role with substantial technical ownership.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, REST APIs/OpenAPI, Git, and SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of frontend architecture, component-based development, state management, software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Experience with background jobs and queues, automated testing, production troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Professional proficiency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS, operational, or business-critical web applications.
• Experience building internal platforms, SDKs, frameworks, or runtime React composition with Module Federation and Vite.
• Experience integrating ERP or systems of record, including migration projects.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, CI/CD, microservices, distributed architectures, monitoring, logging, and performance tools.
• Experience with construction, facilities management, proptech, or US-based teams.
