(Senior) Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own product direction for compliance and workflow engines, entity management consoles, and external client portals.
• Lead hands-on architecture, full-stack delivery, system reliability, and roadmap prioritization.
• Translate complex regulatory workflows into scalable software in collaboration with founders, compliance officers, and operations staff.
• Build production LLM integrations, agentic task orchestration, structured data extraction, and human-in-the-loop verification systems.
• Maintain standards for type safety, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and system maintainability.
• Build and lead the engineering team as the company expands.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with prior leadership exposure.
• Experience as a founding or early-stage startup engineer owning production systems end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience deploying production-grade AI solutions, LLM orchestration, structured output generation, and agentic workflows.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js; Next.js experience is preferred.
• Strong relational database design skills, including PostgreSQL, data modeling, role-based security policies, and operational data integrity.
• Ability to convert regulatory requirements into clear architectures and pragmatic technical trade-offs.
