Business Intelligence Analyst (Mid - Senior)

Location: Central Jakarta, Indonesia

What you will do

• Interpret data and apply advanced query techniques and statistical methods to uncover actionable insights.
• Build reusable data querying, transformation, visualization, reporting, and dashboard processes using Excel, SQL, BigQuery, Python, R, and other big data tools.
• Identify reporting needs, analyze trends and business-process events, and escalate important findings.
• Present complex data insights to support fact-based decision-making and recommend business process improvements.
• Partner with management to prioritize business and information needs and align analysis with company goals.
• Mentor junior BI team members and maintain documentation for reports and dashboards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Expert-level SQL skills for advanced database queries.
• Experience analyzing datasets containing millions of rows and creating complex visualizations in live dashboard environments.
• Ability to perform deep-dive data mining, identify trends, explain findings to non-technical stakeholders, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, R, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Jupyter, Hive, and BigQuery ML.
