What you will do

• Translate and proofread Korean video game content into Japanese.
• Localize in-game dialogue, quests, item descriptions, tutorials, user interfaces, and menus.
• Adapt marketing and store content, including Steam pages, trailers, social posts, and advertising copy.
• Subtitle cutscenes, trailers, and promotional videos.
• Perform linguistic quality evaluation and culturalization analysis.
• Complete MTPE assignments on selected projects.

Requirements

• Native-level Japanese and excellent command of Korean.
• Demonstrated experience localizing video games rather than general content.
• Confident use of memoQ is required.
• Familiarity with Plunet TMS is required.
• Ability to provide rates per word and per hour for translation, proofreading, and MTPE.

Hiring process

• Selected applicants complete two unpaid tests of approximately 450 words each: one translation and one proofreading test, depending on the services offered.
