Electrical & Electronic Engineer (Embedded Systems)

Salary: Up to £55,000 basic per year plus benefits and an annual bonus

hirify.global is recruiting for an engineering role focused on the development of industrial products.

What you will do

• Develop technical specifications and convert customer requirements into electrical and electronic engineering solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and debug electrical systems, electronic hardware, firmware, and embedded software.
• Produce schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB designs, simulations, validation plans, and technical documentation.
• Support prototype development, laboratory testing, field testing, manufacturing, operations, and after-sales activities.
• Manage technical work packages, report project progress, and contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEA activities.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, product management, customers, and suppliers, while mentoring junior engineers when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical or electronic product development, including delivery from concept through production.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller-based design.
• Experience programming embedded systems in C, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience with circuit design, PCB design, simulation software, testing, debugging, and fault-finding.
• Experience using laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, plus strong analytical, communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
