HBB Assurance Advisor (Billing)

Location: Any hirify.globalThree office location in the United Kingdom with hybrid working; office attendance is expected 2–3 days per week and at least 8 days per month.

Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• Support Home Broadband assurance activities that protect revenue, improve billing accuracy, and strengthen operational controls.
• Investigate billing, margin, and customer account exceptions, identifying risks, root causes, and areas for further review.
• Conduct account audits and assurance reviews across systems to validate charging accuracy, control effectiveness, and service billing.
• Analyse billing data, discounts, early termination fees, credits, and compensation activity to identify anomalies and improvement opportunities.
• Support cost assurance through data validation, reconciliations, and reviews of supplier and wholesale billing information.
• Prepare audit evidence and reporting, collaborate with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Technology teams, and escalate risks for remediation.

Requirements

• Experience in assurance, billing, finance, revenue assurance, data analysis, audit, or a related analytical environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, investigation, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working with large data sets, reports, reconciliations, structured processes, and controls.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate results within deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Employment is subject to criminal (DBS) and financial background checks to meet regulatory standards.

Nice to have

• Experience using Excel, SQL, Power BI, reporting tools, or assurance methodologies.
• Interest in developing expertise in assurance, controls, and financial analysis.
