TL;DR
Senior Platform Administrator (MT4/MT5) (Trading Infrastructure): Maintaining and optimizing MT4/MT5 trading servers and related infrastructure with an accent on incident response, high availability, and disaster recovery. Focus on configuring bridges and liquidity-provider systems, deploying platform upgrades, automating operations, and leading infrastructure projects.
Location: Athens, Greece; hybrid work model with 2 days working from home

What you will do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and respond to incidents across MT4/MT5 trading servers, including on-call and weekend maintenance.
- Diagnose complex production issues and coordinate with MetaQuotes to resolve them.
- Test and deploy Windows, server-build, plugin, and application upgrades, including new server installations and integrations.
- Configure hosting machines, disaster-recovery environments, bridges, liquidity-provider systems, White Labels, and MetaQuotes platforms.
- Design platform solutions and lead mid-to-large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Develop operational procedures, improve automation, maintain technical documentation, and mentor junior and mid-level administrators.
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 2 years working with trading platforms.
- Advanced MetaQuotes MT4/MT5 server administration and expert-level Windows Server administration.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell and Python.
- Experience with high-availability, disaster-recovery, networking, VPN, firewalls, routing, and bridge or liquidity-provider systems such as PrimeXM and OneZero.
- Experience leading or mentoring technical team members, documenting systems, and communicating effectively in English.
- Applicants must be eligible or have legal authorization to work in Greece.
Nice to have
- AWS experience with RDS, S3, and VPN tunnels.
- Containerization, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, PRTG, or OpenTelemetry.
- Project management skills or ITIL certification.
