Senior Software Engineer, AI and Full Stack

Location: Columbia, MD; remote work anywhere in the U.S. only

Develops a centralized CloudOps and FinOps platform providing multicloud, multi-organization, and multi-account visibility and controls.

What you will do

• Develop AI-powered product capabilities for cloud environment management.
• Build and integrate Model Context Protocol servers, clients, and tools connecting AI models with product data and capabilities.
• Establish evaluation and observability practices for AI features, measuring accuracy, relevance, hallucination risk, token usage, latency, and customer impact.
• Build and maintain scalable Angular frontend components and backend API services in Go.
• Contribute to architectural decisions across the application and collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Own feature planning, development, testing, and delivery end-to-end in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building scalable web applications.
• Familiarity with MCP or similar protocols for connecting AI models to tools, data, and application services.
• Understanding of AI application risks, including hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage, access control, and unpredictable model behavior.
• Proficiency with a modern frontend framework such as Angular, React, or Vue, plus backend development experience in Go, Java, Python, Ruby, Node, or C#.
• Production experience designing and integrating APIs, with strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and the ability to own features while collaborating effectively in Agile teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular and Golang, multi-cloud or virtualized environments, and cloud tooling.
• Experience shipping AI or LLM-powered features to production.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt design, structured outputs, tool calling, context management, and model evaluation.
• Experience developing FinTech solutions.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience.
