Senior Cloud Software Engineer - Efficiency Engineering

What you will do

• Architect and build robust, scalable, highly available distributed infrastructure.
• Develop a cloud-native platform on public cloud providers and automate cloud resource management.
• Deliver infrastructure optimization initiatives across compute, storage, and networking.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective SaaS solutions.
• Implement distributed systems and industry best practices to improve cost efficiency.
• Design tooling that provides business stakeholders with cost-efficiency insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Software development experience with Go, C, C++, Java, or another object-oriented language.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience developing cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes, Envoy, and Istio.
• Knowledge of network topologies, protocols, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, cloud security, encryption, access controls, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Experience leading and delivering large-scale technical projects, with strong production debugging, communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
