Procurement Specialist

Location: United States; occasional travel to Washington, DC required

What you will do

• Perform and document procurement requirements analyses.
• Coordinate with business owners to prepare procurement requests, statements of work, performance work statements, and independent government cost estimates.
• Conduct and document alternatives analyses, market research, and procurement risk assessments.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies in compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Develop Capital Planning and Investment Control documentation and manage the process in accordance with OMB Circular A-11 and DHS instructions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree preferred, especially in finance or accounting.
• 10 years of demonstrated experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency and exceptional writing skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, take ownership, and work independently or collaboratively.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work full-time in the United States.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DHS suitability or a Public Trust determination; visa sponsorship is not available.
