Early Career Intern - Investments (ETF)

Location: Downers Grove, Illinois; must be able to work in the Downers Grove office, with at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office

Salary: $40/hour

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional investment teams on assigned tasks, initiatives, and projects.
• Conduct investment strategy, security, market, industry, financial statement, and peer research.
• Analyze quantitative, fundamental, and market data to support investment activities.
• Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Present findings to management and participate in team meetings covering investment processes and performance metrics.
• Participate in training, mentoring, networking, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program as a rising junior, graduating by summer 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
• Demonstrated interest in investments and experience gathering and interpreting market data.
• Intermediate proficiency with Python and Excel.
• Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States.
• Employment-based immigration sponsorship, OPT, CPT, relocation assistance, and housing are not provided.

Nice to have

• Background in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business.
• Creative problem-solving, analytical thinking, prioritization, and deadline-management experience.
• Prior investment management internship experience.
• Intermediate proficiency with Dash, React, Git, and/or Bloomberg Terminal.
