Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Yield Defect Metrology Shift Group Leader

Location: On-site in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Compressed 12-hour night shift, approximately 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Wednesday–Friday with alternating Saturday nights.

Annual salary: $89,010–$170,630 USD.

What you will do

• Lead the performance, development, and employee relations of technicians working on assigned shifts.
• Create and execute roadmaps against safety, quality, availability, velocity, affordability, and training metrics.
• Supervise product teams and manufacturing staff, assign personnel, and monitor work-in-process flow.
• Coordinate production schedules, operating procedures, and multiple functions within the fabrication facility.
• Communicate daily quality priorities to the factory and collaborate with module shift leaders on manufacturable solutions.
• Ensure personnel, company assets, and the surrounding environment meet safety requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry.
• 5+ years of process engineering or yield experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, listening, problem-solving, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
• Experience setting expectations, driving accountability, developing employees, and managing performance.
• Ability to work the specified compressed night-shift schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience interacting with vendor field service engineers and manufacturing technicians on toolsets.
• Previous people management or leadership experience.
• Technical expertise in semiconductor process engineering and quality issue direction.
• Data analysis skills and understanding of basic statistics.
