Financial Crime & Conduct Audit Leader (Fintech/Crypto)

What you will do

• Lead audits across financial crime compliance and conduct risk across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory regimes.
• Perform risk assessments and design control testing to evaluate effectiveness of AML/CFT, sanctions, anti-bribery, and market integrity controls.
• Manage multiple audit engagements end-to-end, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and remediation tracking.
• Lead AI-enabled auditing initiatives to improve audit coverage, risk targeting, and efficiency.
• Engage with stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Business teams to communicate findings and support regulatory examinations.
• Contribute to audit methodology improvements and lead engagement teams including co-sourced resources.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in internal audit or financial crimes compliance within financial services
• Experience auditing financial crime compliance programs including AML/CFT frameworks
• Multi-jurisdiction audit experience with globally distributed teams
• Strong knowledge of financial crime risks and conduct/market integrity risk
• Leadership experience managing audit workstreams and teams
• Comfortable working across multiple time zones with global teams
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS, CIA, or CFE preferred
• Familiarity with crypto, fintech, or digital asset financial crime typologies
• Experience with audit management platforms like AuditBoard or Workiva
