Data Science, Analytics Engineer - Vaga exclusiva para PCD

Location: Hybrid work in the hirify.global office in São Paulo, Brazil

What you will do

• Translate business needs and questions into data requirements and structured analytical solutions.
• Build and scale internal data products and self-serve analytics tools.
• Develop and maintain canonical datasets through reliable, high-volume ETL/ELT pipelines using data lake and data warehousing concepts.
• Design metrics, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Sigma, and Mode.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, product managers, operators, and business stakeholders.
• Uphold data integrity, reusability, readability, and standardization across the analytics stack.

Requirements

• 2–6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in at least one functional or object-oriented language, such as Python or Scala.
• Experience creating reporting and data visualization solutions with tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Sigma.
• Knowledge of database fundamentals, including S3, Trino, Hive, or Spark, and experience with SQL performance tuning.
• Experience writing data quality checks to validate data integrity, such as Pydeequ or Great Expectations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from the São Paulo, Brazil office; interviews are conducted in English.
