QA Automation Test Engineer (Playwright)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be U.S. citizens or authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Occasional travel of less than 10% may be required for client meetings, team events, training, or project needs.

What you will do

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
• Create test strategies, test plans, automation frameworks, reusable scripts, utilities, and testing components.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, end-to-end, user story validation, accessibility, load, performance, and scalability testing.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and support continuous integration feedback.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Testers during backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Analyze results, document defects and risks, measure coverage, and recommend improvements for release readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and additional relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience using automation tools, writing test scripts, and executing tests.
• 3+ years of experience with automation testing tools; Playwright is preferred. Experience with Selenium, Cypress, SonarQube, NeoLoad, Postman, or issue-tracking tools is relevant.
• Experience building automation and performance testing strategies and frameworks from the ground up.
• Experience creating reusable automation solutions, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and conducting functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• U.S. work authorization and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination are required; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure and .NET.
• Federal government contracting experience.
• DHS Trusted Tester Certification.
