Software Operations Specialist (12 Month Duration)

What you will do

• Review annotated datasets and labeling outputs for quality and consistency across robotics and autonomous driving workflows.
• Apply quality-control rubrics, classify defects, and maintain complete review logs for every assessed item.
• Test internal tools across standard and exception scenarios, reproduce bugs, and validate fixes.
• Document defects with reproduction steps, inputs, expected behavior, actual behavior, and impact.
• Submit QC and testing reports, escalate urgent defects, and raise ambiguous cases to the Operations Lead.
• Identify recurring defects and documentation gaps, and collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve processes.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in QA, software testing, operations, content review, or a related field.
• Familiarity with U.S. roadways and driving behavior.
• Ability to apply evaluation criteria consistently across high volumes of work without losing precision.
• Strong attention to detail and clear, specific written communication for actionable defect reports.
• Comfort learning new tools and working across technical systems with limited initial guidance.
• Reliable, self-directed work style with consistent adherence to reporting cadences and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with mapping, 3D tools, or visual software.
• Experience reviewing text, image, sensor-data, or video outputs.
• Exposure to robotics, autonomous driving, or ML training-data production environments.
• Bachelor's degree.
