Data Operations Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day data labeling lifecycle, including raw field-data curation, annotation batch preparation, and deliveries to external labeling companies.
• Coordinate with external annotation vendors, clarify edge cases, and provide feedback on labeling guidelines.
• Assess the quality of incoming labels, track error rates, and prepare performance reports.
• Filter and select valuable image, video, and LiDAR sensor data for machine learning model training.
• Work with ML Engineers on data needs, edge cases, and Computer Vision requirements.
• Maintain the data catalog by tagging and logging incoming datasets.

Requirements

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple data batches, vendor deliveries, and QA processes.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with external vendors and creating labeling guidelines.
• Basic understanding of Computer Vision and Machine Learning concepts, including bounding boxes, segmentation masks, and object tracking.
• Basic scripting with Python and data querying with SQL.
• Pragmatic problem-solving skills and interest in data operations and Computer Vision.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with COCO and other annotation formats and ML dataset structures.
• Experience with data annotation platforms such as CVAT, Labelbox, or Scale AI.
• Exposure to RGB, thermal, or LiDAR sensor data and robotics.
