Senior Customer Solutions Specialist (Tapestry)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: $163,000–$245,000 USD base salary annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Deploy Tapestry products for utilities, grid operators, and energy market participants.
• Support the ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and validation of large-scale utility datasets and grid models.
• Resolve topology errors and powerflow modeling discrepancies with engineering, data science, and power systems teams.
• Train customer user groups and develop deployment playbooks to accelerate product adoption.
• Conduct technical due diligence on prospective customers, assessing data quality, model completeness, software compatibility, and onboarding complexity.
• Translate technical findings into project plans, business risk assessments, product roadmap input, and experiments for new use cases or markets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in power systems engineering focused on grid data, modeling, simulation, or technical implementation of planning software.
• Experience delivering complex technical projects to external clients.
• Expertise with physical grid data, GIS, electrical grid data formats, and tools such as CIM, PSS/E, CYME, or DIGSILENT.
• Experience performing technical model validation, data transformation, and scripting.
• Ability to translate complex technical blockers into business risks and actionable delivery plans.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with utility engineers and planners.
