What you will do

• Develop and validate technologies that advance humanoid capability toward human-level performance
• Demonstrate improvements through experimentation, benchmarking, and real-world validation
• Translate research ideas into working systems, prototypes, or platforms
• Identify and overcome technical bottlenecks limiting robotic performance
• Create paths from early-stage research to scalable product implementation

Requirements

• Location: Must work onsite in San Carlos, CA, United States
• Exceptional technical depth in relevant fields such as robotics, AI, controls, sensing, actuation, materials science, neuroscience, biomechanics, or manufacturing
• Strong bias toward execution, experimentation, and evidence-based decision making
• Ability to independently originate, develop, and validate ambitious technical ideas
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments with minimal predefined structure
• Demonstrated technical achievements such as high-impact publications, prototypes, or founding technical ventures
