Senior Quality Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the Americas; listed locations include São Paulo, Florianópolis, Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Montevideo, and Mexico City.

Salary: $45,000–$65,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and expand E2E and integration test coverage using Cypress.
• Own automation strategy, prioritize coverage gaps, and develop durable test infrastructure.
• Manage the full bug lifecycle from triage through production fixes.
• Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data to identify risks and define quality standards.
• Perform exploratory testing across web and mobile devices.
• Improve quality processes and use AI tools to increase testing effectiveness and reduce repetitive work.

Requirements

• Hands-on, automation-first quality engineering experience.
• Practical use of AI tools such as Claude Code, browser MCPs, agent workflows, and automation scripts.
• Ability to read and write code and understand both frontend and backend web services.
• Experience writing meaningful SQL queries and debugging across the stack.
• Strong collaboration, direct communication, customer focus, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Must be able to work remotely from the Americas.
