Senior/Staff Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure, Optimization (Autonomous Driving)

Salary: $193,930–$352,290 base pay annually, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Optimize hirify.global’s autonomy stack using quantization, distillation, pruning, and model compression techniques.
• Design, build, and deploy infrastructure components across the machine learning model lifecycle.
• Optimize, validate, and deploy large language models with autonomy engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain the FTL model compiler framework, including GPU ML compilers and runtimes.
• Write robust, high-quality software that improves confidence in autonomous vehicle navigation safety.
• Collaborate with machine learning experts and engineers across behavior, perception, and mapping on end-to-end learned ML solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in ML optimization infrastructure.
• Experience with ML optimization techniques such as quantization and pruning, as well as ML compilers.
• Experience maintaining, profiling, and optimizing GPU ML compilers and runtimes.
• Proficiency in Python and working experience with C++ and CUDA.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, or Keras.
