Sr. Project Finance Analyst

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Partner with Project Managers and Operations Leaders to support the financial performance of assigned projects.
• Review contracts and ensure accurate project setup, revenue recognition, billing, and delivery requirements.
• Manage revenue, margin, backlog, unbilled accounts, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable metrics.
• Support invoicing, collections, month-end close, financial reviews, reporting, and analysis.
• Identify financial risks, trends, improvement opportunities, and solutions to resolve aging balances and other challenges.
• Collaborate with Operations, Contracts, Accounting, and Tax on audits, departmental initiatives, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project accounting, finance, auditing, revenue analysis, or a similar area.
• Understanding of revenue recognition and project-based financial management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder partnership skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Deltek Costpoint experience is preferred.
