Software Engineer (C++/Python)

Salary: CHF 92,500–110,000 yearly

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Linux backend systems for media measurement.
• Reliably ingest and persist data from more than 50,000 metering devices worldwide.
• Preprocess measurement data, including audio matching, to generate usage statements.
• Design user-friendly REST interfaces and support security and authentication.
• Analyze data, debug systems, and perform performance analysis.
• Maintain 24/7 services, provide third-level and on-duty support, and migrate or re-orchestrate systems in AWS.

Requirements

• Experience developing with modern C++ and Python.
• Experience with Linux environments and container-based development.
• Test-driven development, debugging, and performance analysis skills.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub.
• AWS cloud experience and knowledge of REST interface design and implementation.
• Understanding of security and data encryption, plus flexibility and collaborative Scrum teamwork.
