Fullstack Developer – Aviation Mobile Application (React Native)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; fully remote within Portugal

hirify.global is recruiting for a client in the aviation industry developing its first mobile application.

What you will do

• Design and build the backend for a new aviation mobile application using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Own backend architecture and system design, focusing on reliability, security, and performance at scale.
• Develop end-to-end features in React Native alongside the mobile application team.
• Containerize services with Docker and manage cloud deployments, preferably on AWS.
• Model and manage data in PostgreSQL.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong command of TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Experience with backend architecture and system design.
• Hands-on React Native experience.
• Experience with Docker, cloud deployments, and PostgreSQL.
• Fluent English and an existing legal right to work in Portugal are required.

Nice to have

• Cloud or software-architecture certifications.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
