Senior Java & Angular Developer (Java/Angular): Building and maintaining fullstack enterprise applications and service-oriented systems with an accent on Java APIs, Angular interfaces, microservices, and clean architecture. Focus on designing scalable services, integrating deployment pipelines, working with relational data, and delivering reliable software in an Agile environment.

Location: Hybrid work in Lisbon, two days per week; candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend services and Web APIs.
• Build frontend features with Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Work with monolithic, SOA, and microservices architectures using layered, onion, and hexagonal patterns.
• Manage code integration, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and containerized environments.
• Work with SQL, relational databases, scripts, and data manipulation technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Professional experience with Java, Web APIs, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Maven, Jenkins, XLDeploy, XLRelease, Bitbucket, Git, Jira, GitLab pipelines, and Docker.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, software architecture patterns, clean code, and test-driven development.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Fluent English at B2 level or above, plus eligibility to work in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python.
• Understanding of containers.
