What you will do

• Design and develop inspection machine control software and data analytics solutions for advanced mask inspection systems.
• Integrate AI capabilities into production tools and evaluate different model training and inference flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, optical, algorithm) to implement system requirements.
• Optimize and maintain existing C++ codebases to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide technical support during integration and testing, handling escalations from customer sites.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Milpitas, CA
• Education and experience: PhD with 0 years, Master's with 3+ years, or Bachelor's with 5+ years of related experience.
• Proven expertise in C++ programming, object-oriented design (OOD/OOP), and design patterns.
• Strong background in data analysis and debugging within multi-process and multi-threaded applications.
• Proficiency in Linux-based development environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with RPC/REST interface definitions.
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, Prometheus) and observability tools (Grafana).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Singularity) and Kubernetes.
• Experience with frontend stacks such as Qt, Vue, React, or Angular.
