What you will do

• Define the technical vision and long-term roadmap for Feed Relevance and media ranking systems.
• Lead, coach, and support a high-impact team of Machine Learning Engineers.
• Oversee the design, development, and optimization of sophisticated relevance, discovery, and content distribution systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and communicate technical strategy.
• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to advance AI-powered solutions.
• Recruit and hire diverse talent to grow a world-class machine learning organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of experience building and managing high-performing ML teams.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale production ML systems, including transformers, sequence models, or LLMs.
• Strong understanding of recommender systems, including candidate retrieval, ranking, and value modeling.
• Ability to develop and communicate clear technical strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
