Systems Software Engineer (AI Cloud)

Location: On-site at offices in San Francisco or Westwood, Los Angeles, United States

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Expand and extend the GPU cloud daemon orchestrating the host fleet.
• Design and deploy market-based resource management systems.
• Harden code and infrastructure to meet zero-trust standards.
• Benchmark and profile hypervisor, container, and network layers.
• Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks while improving infrastructure reliability and capability.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in at least one language, ideally C++.
• Extensive knowledge of Linux kernel internals, containerization, and virtualization.
• Deep understanding of workload and network isolation in multi-tenant environments.
• Experience securing and hardening cloud infrastructure handling untrusted workloads.
• Background in network security and cloud-native security practices.
• Experience with GPU programming and GPU-specific security concerns.
