Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $190,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Architect high-scale distributed systems that process massive data volumes for an Agentic AI ecosystem.
• Design and optimize high-throughput, event-driven systems using Apache Kafka for real-time data flows.
• Build large-scale data pipelines with Apache Spark or Flink to support high-volume analytics.
• Develop autonomous AI agents with planning, memory management, and reliable tool use across distributed environments.
• Lead the architecture of containerized Kubernetes services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Improve agent observability, evaluation, resilience, vector database performance, and LLM inference deployment.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of backend engineering experience with Java, Python, or Go.
• Expertise in distributed systems, asynchronous architectures, Kafka, and large-scale data processing with Spark or Flink.
• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation, Model Context Protocol, model fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, reusable Terraform modules, and complex multi-region deployments.
• Experience optimizing vector databases, including HNSW and IVF indexing strategies, and high-concurrency performance.
• This role involves technology subject to U.S. export controls; employment is contingent on the ability to comply with them.
